PAD 1 is an introductory course that will set the stage for future discussion in the management of patients with varying severity of PAD.  The fundamental concepts introduced in this module will teach you how to identify patients with PAD and initiate appropriate medical management. Future courses in this space will build off these concepts.

  • Review the key features to a focused vascular history and exam.
  • Compare the role for non-invasive physiologic versus non-invasive vascular testing.
  • Name the standard classifications for PAD.
  • Identify the appropriate risk factor reduction and medical management for all PAD patients.
