Residency Essentials: PAD 2

PAD 2

PAD 2 builds on the fundamentals of PAD presented in PAD1. PAD 2 is an introductory course that will set the stage for further investigation into this very common disease.  At this point you should be fully aware of the natural history of asymptomatic PAD, claudication and critical limb ischemia as well as the evaluation and management of PAD.  This course will give you the basic technical fundamentals to revascularize the lower extremity arterial bed as well as the required follow up critical to optimize limb salvage.   Future courses in this space will expand on these concepts.
