Stroke Education Series on Demand

For interventional radiologists interested or experienced in cerebral angiography, carotid revascularization, and/or endovascular stroke thrombectomy, this course will provide participants with the latest in stroke education offering 8 hours of CME credit.

Topics from the multidisciplinary faculty include stroke pathophysiology, the latest updates on stroke trials, emerging areas for endovascular thrombectomy, challenging interventions in refractory and tandem occlusion cases, and case presentations.

Purpose/Desired Learning Outcome 
Following this activity, attendees will understand the most recent clinical and imaging guidelines used to select patients for mechanical thrombectomy and implement these updates in their practices. They will review endovascular treatment techniques and management of complications informing attendees of techniques that they may not be familiar with providing them additional treatment options.
