Microlearning: Percutaneous Cholangioscopy: Advance Your Practice
This activity equips learners with the skills to distinguish between benign and malignant biliary strictures and introduces multiple techniques for performing cholangioscopy-assisted stricturotomy. Participants will also learn to apply best practices for preventing and managing adverse events that may occur during or after cholangioscopy. In addition, the activity provides a comprehensive review of appropriate billing and coding practices to support accurate and compliant documentation.
Purpose/Desired Learning Outcome
Following this activity, learners will report their intention to apply advanced techniques of electrohydraulic and laser lithotripsy, to recognize the difference between benign and malignant strictures, as well as learn different methods to perform cholangioscopy-assisted stricturotomy, and techniques for managing adverse events encountered during and after cholangioscopy.
