2026 ACIR Fall Meeting

This day-and-a-half, in-person meeting features 14 sessions led by more than 20 experienced IR chiefs representing diverse practice settings. Guided by the theme “IR Leadership in Action: Navigating Practice, Growth, and Influence,” the program is designed for current and aspiring leaders in both private practice and academic settings. Sessions will explore the practical skills and strategies needed to lead with confidence in today’s evolving healthcare environment. Topics include the value of IR, transitioning from academia to an office-based lab, building and leading a private IR practice, developing professional agency, collaborating with the C-suite, navigating hospital acquisitions, understanding hospital finance for IR, addressing staffing needs, and strengthening leadership skills. Attendees will also have opportunities to exchange insights and build connections during three tabletop group discussions focused on leadership skills. They will also be networking and sharing during breaks, lunch, and a reception.
