This course will discuss detecting and evaluating patients for endovascular repair of aortic aneurysmal disease. This course will also discuss identification and treatment strategies for complications following endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms.

Learning Objectives
- Review risk factors, screening recommendations, and indications to treat aortic aneurysms.
- Distinguish the risks and benefits of endovascular repair versus open surgical repair for abdominal aortic aneurysms, including trials that established this data.
- Differentiate anatomic concepts considered when determining candidacy for endovascular repair.
- State the types of endoleaks and their respective surveillance/treatment strategies.
- Be familiar with risk factor reduction and imaging surveillance in patients following endovascular aortic repair (EVAR).
