The goal is to give an overview of acute  limb  ischemia as well as an overview of endovascular treatment options.  This module will also cover entrapment and cystic  adventitial  disease of the popliteal artery.

  • Review the Rutherford classification and endovascular vs surgical options
  • Assess management of acute limb  ischemia
  • Describe the pathophysiology of popliteal artery entrapment and the treatment options
  • Discuss the pathophysiology of  adventitial cystic disease and the treatment options
